A model illustrator

by Patsyfox on August 14, 2012

While most of my friends were working on their tans last summer and generally having a social life, I was living a mushroom-like existence, up to my elbows in pencils and ink.  What’s new you ask?  Not much! Except that taking pride of place right now on my bookshelf is my copy of The Model’s Handbook, published this month by Penguin books, and illustrated by moi.

Words from the wise written by Marlene Donovan, it’s jam-packed with incredibly useful advice for both guys and gals wanting to make a career from modeling.  But really – who reads the words anyway when you have such a fabulous array of illustrations to feast your eyes on!

Yes, who indeed would read the words when there are so many delicious illustrations to feast upon? I am very fortunate to have an autographed copy sitting in a very special place in my home. Your talent never ceases to amaze Ms. Patsyfox.

Thank you for the lovely inscription. xo

Why you’re so welcome, and so deserved. xo

I still can’t believe they didn’t use one of your illustrations on the cover. If you’d illustrated the front cover photograph it would be so much better.

I agree! Although I made peace with the decision some time ago – reluctantly!!

I like the ones with the glasses and red laptop – really visual appealing!
