Breathe

Was I a little uptight this morning to read Qantas had cancelled all flights until the stinking volcanic ash kindly departs our airspace?  Seeing how I take off for Paris tomorrow ‘n all?  God yes! Seriously, as if the day before I fly around the world isn’t stressful enough (Finish 7 design illustrations; Mow the lawns; Organise insurance; Empty the kitty litter; Admit to Mum I’m actually going away – check check check check check), let’s throw in an element of gee-maybe-you-won’t-be-going-anywhere-anyway.

The one positive should my arse not be on that flight is that I’d be able to attend the opening of the Illustrators Australia A3 show this Friday night 17th June, where I will proudly have 2 prints hanging on the wall.  You can check out all the prints online, or come for a good look and tipple in person.  Professional gallery-quality prints of the many and varied artworks can be purchased for the barganza price of $125.  You can probably even purchase on line.  Nothing not to love about that.

But back to me.  Or actually, back to my pre-flight checklist which seems only to be growing, much like the contents of my suitcase.  Oh god I hate packing!  Pas de panique – breathe…..
