Thanks for visiting… you probably didn’t see my reply comment to you re kimono so just thought I’d warn you to be very careful when washing your material – kimono material either runs or shrinks most of the time so make sure to wash it separately from anything you value, and don’t make anything before you have washed it. I’ve made a loose dress that is now a very tight top, turned white singlets pink, etc… !!

Oh thanks for the tip – quelle tragedy! I confess I treat my kimonos very badly – forever spilling coffee on them, setting them alight on the stove while making coffee, etc etc. But at least I wear them!

Hmm, in that case a little shrinkage would be fine in comparison! Thanks for the tip re new dress a day, I check it out occasionally but agree with you… some of her ideas are good but sometimes I wince at what she’s done when I think of how I would have altered the dress instead!
