If it wasn’t for an ultimately unnecessary trip to Bunnings on Saturday, I would have completed a hat trick this weekend – 3 consecutive nights spent indoors without leaving the house. Pyjama marathon anyone? What I learned about myself is that I approach this like an Olympic sport and seek to skip every last ritual that makes us socially acceptable human beings – if I can get a brush through my hair tomorrow morning then I will be genuinely disappointed.
But this wasn’t a result of slothdome – cabin fever would have nipped that in the bud – this was a duel focus of a) kicking a cold to the curb, and b) Making the Monday morning deadline of producing some 17 illustrations. True. Tick, and tick.
