It’s with negligible guilt that I admit Australia Day means naught to me other than a day off. Make that a day in, because apart from pausing to whip out this little aussie number, I’m slogging away at the drawing table working on my best-yet and mega-biggest drawing commission evah. And you know what that means – procrastination like I’ve never witnessed, even in myself. My socks have never been so well-matched, my toaster so shiny, my dishes so washed-dried-and-put-away.
I shit me. No really, I shit me.

You forgot about cleaning your hairbrush! That always demands my undivided attention whenever there’s a deadline looming.

How exciting! Can’t wait to hear about it when class starts. I’m sorry haven’t responded to your email, but I am still in for this semester.
I hear ya, re:procrastination. I always seem to raid the pantry & fridge when I’m working on a deadline.
See you soon xx

Ha! My hairbrush is spotless, my window sills have been vacuumed, I have mowed lawns and whippersnipped like my life depended on it. The last frontier for me is the shower – I HATE cleaning the shower!!

Oh great! I’m looking forward to catching up. And, er, drawing like a demon, of course…
Oh yes, don’t mention the fridge – I’ve just eaten my own body weight in chilli hummus : /
Axx
